Just before Christmas my family had our second annual talent show. Alyssa sang "Silent Night", and Ethan recited a poem, but I lost that video when I was transferring our pictures from camera to computer. My brother also sang "Christmas in Killarny", and my niece folded an origami crane blindfolded, but I lost that video, too.

Afraid of Snakes
Okay, I have to tell you that I think snakes are beautiful, fascinating creatures. I know they're not evil and mean, and I know that in general, they'll leave you alone if you leave them alone, and they won't hurt you unless they feel threatened, yadda, yadda, yadda...but even knowing all that, they terrify me. They scare me even more than your average female being afraid of snakes because almost every other female is afraid of snakes. Like I said, they terrify me.
